DVV International – Country Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of education, science, culture and sport of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton organise and implement the training cycle „Management in Education“, which for several years in a row takes place in the cantons of the FB&H where the Law on Adult Education was adopted. This programme was created for development of competencies of personnel in leading positions in public and private educational facilities, and its first module was held in Mostar on October 8th – 9th 2018.
Supported by the trainers, Professor Dr Šefika Alibabić and Dr Jovan Miljković, Assistant Professor from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, the participants have been working on the following topics during the first module: management functions and models, SWOT analysis, strategic management, organisational culture and climate, analysis of organisational culture and climate indicators.
The topics and methods and techniques applied in the training provide ideal tools for the acquisition of knowledge and skills needed for successful management of modern educational organisations, which implies functions like planning, monitoring, controlling, managing human resources etc. Andragogic approach to the seminar includes methods such as dialogue based on reality and practice and that makes it complementary to theoretical postulates of management. Project “Management in Education” is dedicated to the development of managerial competencies, which is one of the strategic goals of DVV International in the field of building and sustainable development of structures for the education of youth and adults in B&H.
Second module of the training will take place in Mostar on October 30th – 31st 2018 and more about the training you can read here.
