On Monday, May 21, director of DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr.sc. Emir Avdagić, held a lecture for students of third grade of Department for Security and Peace Studies of Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo, within the regular classes of Andragogy held by Doc. Dr. Haris Cerić.
From the perspective of two-decade actor in continuous process of development of adult education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Avdagić presented theoretical and practical grounds of adult education in B&H, European, as well as, global trends and development tendencies in this field, and pointed the importance and functions of adult education for development of each individual, as well as for society as a whole.
Within the lecture, students were also introduced with operations and the mission of DVV International in Bosnia and Herzegovina, goals and sub-goals of sustainable development, goals of Renewed European agenda for adult education, and educational measures that are crucial for development of B&H society.
