The activities are being conducted in four administrative units of the Federation B&H (Una-Sana Canton, Zenica-Doboj Canton, Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, and Sarajevo Canton), in District Brčko and Entity Republic of Srpska. Main target groups are: employees of ministries of education responsible for adult education affairs and representatives of adult education providers.
Main objective of the project „Strengthening Non-formal Network of Relevant Actors in the Field of Adult Education” is establishment of efficient ways of participation of relevant actors in the processes of regulation and conduction of adult education in the context of lifelong learning, as well as harmonisation of mission and objectives of public, private and civil sector.
In cooperation with the institutions responsible for the field of adult education, in 2019 DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina organised a cycle of seven round tables on adult education in these administrative units.
In cooperation with the partner organisation „Association for Local Development Initiatives – ALDI“ Goražde, DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina implements the project „Skill Accelerator – Development of Digital and Soft Skills for the Current and Future Labour Market“.
As the technology for production and processing of tools in Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde is well developed, it is also necessary to develop programmes and organise training of employees for the use of specialised computer programmes. Therefore, PI Secondary Vocational School "Džemal Bijedić" Goražde and DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2019 implement the project ""Increasing competencies of employees of companies in Bosnia-Podrinje Canton (BPC) Goražde".
DVV International began its work in Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2000.
