Executive Director of the Association for Local Development Initiatives ALDI, Ms Meliha Gačanin and the Director of the DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Emir Avdagić, PhD, signed the Agreement on Cooperation in 2021 yesterday in Goražde.
The Agreement foresees the elaboration, accreditation and piloting of a non-formal professional development program in digital marketing in Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, and further activities on strengthening local partnership in this canton, and establishing non-formal networks of relevant actors in adult education in Sarajevo Canton and Brčko District BiH.
The ALDI's Advanced Institute for Technologies and Innovations (AITI LAB) at the end of 2020 entered into the Register of Adult Education Providers at the competent ministry of education as the first adult education provider from the private and civil sector in this canton. That represents a good baseline for future active work on expanding educational offer for adults and quality response to the needs of society, the local community, and the labour market.
