A functional partnership of the public, private, and civil sectors in developing adult learners' skills is crucial for the success of all actors' policy implementation and efforts in lifelong learning and adult education.
One of the reasons for not utilising the potential of the partnership of all stakeholders in adult education is a lack of shared mission and objectives and insufficient capacities in public and private sectors to respond proactively and jointly to adult education challenges.
Therefore, the Association for Local Development Initiatives ALDI and DVV International in the previous period worked actively on establishing and capacity building of local partnerships in Brčko District BiH and Sarajevo Canton. They conducted a needs analysis which enabled further developing and strengthening partner relations between relevant institutions.
As a result of the analysis, two reports entitled First Steps Towards a Powerful Partnership were finalised containing the recommendations for developing institutional partnership of actors in adult education in these two administrative units.
Both reports are available online from now on, and you can read them here.
