Curriculum managerALE
The Professional Development Program for Managers was developed in response to the need to strengthen the capacities of leadership staff in the adult education sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is based on the international Curriculum managerALE, created by DVV International – the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association. This program has been adapted to the context of Bosnia and Herzegovina by DVV International – Country Office in BiH, in cooperation with experts from the academic and professional community.
Through six modules, the program covers key competencies required for effective management of organizations and institutions in the field of adult education, with a particular focus on the practical application of knowledge in everyday work.
The objectives of the program are to:
- strengthen managers of organizations and institutions in adult education through the development of managerial competencies,
- improve the quality, relevance, and sustainability of adult education in Bosnia and Herzegovina,
- support the processes of professionalization, licensing, and certification of managers,
- enable the development of internal educational and mentoring programs within institutions.
The program is intended for:
- current and future managers in adult education,
- individuals holding leadership positions in educational institutions,
- professionals seeking to develop additional competencies in strategic planning, leadership, communication, resource management, and evaluation.
