Professional development as the key to successful teaching

As part of the adult education promotion campaign, Eldisa Družanović, Director of the Glossa Center branch in Bihać and a participant in the Basic Andragogical Training in the Una-Sana Canton, shared her experience:
“The Basic Andragogical Training was an incredibly valuable experience that helped me better understand the importance of adult education, especially in the context of non-formal learning, such as language instruction.
As a Master of German Language and a teacher at the Glossa Center, I witness every day how crucial it is to approach adult learners in the right way—adapting methods to their needs and learning styles.
The training provided me with essential knowledge about motivation, different learning styles, and ways to enhance interaction with learners. All of this has helped me improve my teaching and make the learning process more effective.
I truly believe that continuous adult education is vital for both personal and professional development. This training is a great example of how professional development can enhance the quality of teaching and empower us as educators.”
