Collaboration with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo (UNSA)

Collaboration with public institutions, such as universities, is crucial for the advancement of adult education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This partnership allows for the exchange of knowledge, resources, and innovations, which directly contributes to the development of society and the economy. Our best example of successful collaboration is our partnership with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo (UNSA).

The Faculty of Philosophy, UNSA, has been dedicated to improving education and research in the field of humanities and social sciences for many years. Through joint efforts, we have achieved significant results that directly contribute to the educational and scientific development in our country, with a special emphasis on adult education.

The results of this collaboration are numerous, and some of the most important include:

• International Conference: In October 2024, Sarajevo hosted the first international conference titled "Adult Education in the European Education Area: Perspectives from Southeast Europe." This conference brought together researchers, experts, practitioners, and decision-makers from the region and Europe, providing a platform for the exchange of experiences and research in the field of adult education, with a special emphasis on the specificities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

• Creation of the Book of Abstracts: In addition to professional discussions, the conference resulted in the publication of a book of abstracts covering key topics from all sessions. This book will be useful to all colleagues who wish to study the topics covered during the conference in more detail.

• Plan to Establish a Master's Degree in Andragogy: One of the goals of our collaboration with the Faculty of Philosophy is to establish the first master's degree program in andragogy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This study program will enable future andragogists to acquire the necessary competencies and skills needed to work in the field of adult education.

All these results are proof that through partnership and joint efforts, we can achieve significant changes and improvements in the field of adult education. Collaboration with the Faculty of Philosophy, UNSA, enables us to expand our horizons, improve educational programs, and create a better future for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
