As part of the activities of the "Women's Rights Ambassadors for Empowerment and Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina" project, a working group meeting was held to draft the Gender Action Plan for the City of Lukavac. The participants, among whom were employees of the City Administration, representatives of the non-governmental sector, and institutions founded by the City of Lukavac, had the opportunity to improve their knowledge about the legal framework for gender equality in BiH, as well as about the topics of discrimination, gender equality, and gender-based violence, through education. This significant activity laid the foundations for the development of the local Gender Action Plan, defining key steps and strategies for the promotion of gender equality in the local community.
The project "Women's Rights Ambassadors for Empowerment and Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina" is financed by the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it is implemented by DVV International, Center for Education and Research NAHLA and Association SARA - Srebrenica.
