Minister of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sport of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, Mr. Damir Žuga and director of DVV International - Country Office B&H, Emir Avdagić, PhD signed yesterday, 8th of March, the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Adult Education.
Further cooperation of these two institutions in 2017, based on this agreement, includes:
- preparation, organization and implementation of the three-day training „Basic adult education training“ for 20 participants from the field of adult education from Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde,
- four two-day modules of training „Development and Evaluation of Curricula for Adult Education“ for 20 employees of ministries of education and employment agencies (three of them will be from Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde and named by the Ministry),
- participation of the ministry representatives in a study visit to Zagreb in organization of DVV International - Country Office B&H and Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education of Republic of Croatia.
DVV International - Country Office B&H will in 2017, the same as before, give financial as well as professional and advisory support with the aim of better implementation of the Law on Adult Education and further regulation of this field in Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde.
The agreement is part of DVV International's strategy and is in accordance with its aim of supporting adult education, inter alia, in transitional countries of Southeast Europe, Caucasus and Turkey.
