With the adoption of Law on adult education in Central Bosnia Canton in March 2017, many opportunities for development and further regulation and improvement of this field have been opened.
Therefore, Minister of education, science, culture and sport of this canton, Ms. Katica Čerkez and director of DVV International - Country Office B&H, Emir Avdagić, PhD, have signed the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Adult Education as an encouragement for better implementation of the Law.
Further cooperation of these two institutions in 2017, based on this agreement, includes preparation, organisation and implementation of the three-day training “Basic adult education training” for staff from the field of adult education as well as continuous exchange of information, defining needs and eventual activities out of the needs.
The agreement is part of DVV International's strategy and is in accordance with its aim of supporting adult education, inter alia, in transitional countries of Southeast Europe, Caucasus and Turkey.
