All for gender equality in local self-government units

The project “Women's Rights Ambassadors for Empowerment and Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina” records the interest of local self-government units for technical support and cooperation in the field in question. This week, some next steps were confirmed: in the municipalities of Lukavac and Srebrenica, the project will support the development of strategic-planning documents, i.e. local gender action plans, and in the municipality of Bratunac, which already has that plan, support its implementation by defining a road map for education for employment through intersectoral cooperation.

The preparation of strategic planning documents will be carried out in accordance with the methodologies of the Gender Center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Gender Center of the Republic of Srpska.

The project "Women's Rights Ambassadors for Empowerment and Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina" is funded by the European Union, and is implemented by DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina, Center for Education and Research NAHLA and Association SARA–Srebrenica.
