The project "Women's Rights Ambassadors for Empowerment and Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina", which the DVV International Office for BiH is implementing with partner organizations CEI NAHLA and SARA-Srebrenica, highlights the interest of local self-government units in technical support and cooperation in the subject field. This week, some next steps were confirmed: in the municipalities of Lukavac and Srebrenica, the project will support the creation of strategic planning documents, i.e. local gender action plans, and in the municipality of Bratunac, which already has this plan, support its implementation by defining an education plan for employment through intersectoral cooperation.
The preparation of strategic planning documents will be carried out in accordance with the methodologies of the Gender Center of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Gender Center of the Republic of Srpska.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights.
