On Friday, 6th of March, representatives of the DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina held meetings with partner organisations from Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, and signed the agreements on cooperation in 2020.
With the Minister of Education, Youth, Science, Culture, and Sport of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, Mr Arman Bešlija, and the contact person for adult education, Mr Amir Duhović, they discussed current challenges of adult education, implementation of the adopted strategy for adult education, as well as the key activities that are to be implemented this year in this canton:
- andragogical development of teachers in adult education based on the publicly recognised programme „Basic Adult Education Training“
- introduction of the Information System for Controlling and Monitoring Adult Education – ISKOOM.
Association ALDI Goražde has been actively preparing its application to the register of adult education providers, and in 2020 in cooperation with DVV International, is going to develop and pilot the programme „Internet of Things – IoT“ within the project „ALDI Skill Accelerator (SKIA) 2“. Besides, the signed agreement on cooperation with the Association ALDI foresees the continuation of support to the operations of local partnership, that is, the network of relevant actors in the field of adult education, through renovation and equipping of multimedia space for the network and capacity building activities for its members.
