Basic adult education training for teachers in adult education from West Herzegovina Canton was held from 28th to 30th June in Široki Brijeg, and organised by DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of education, science, culture and sport of the canton.
The training was implemented by Mr. Perica Ivanek, MA and Ms. Svjetlana Tubić, certified multipliers of DVV International - Country Office B&H for training of trainers in adult education.
During this three-day interactive training (20 teaching classes), participants had the opportunity to learn about the psychological basis, characteristics and learning styles of adults, motives and barriers of adult learning, the teacher's role, communication, group dynamics, visualization and presentation of the educational work, as well as group work, individual work, interactive methods and interactive teaching in adult education.
At the end of the training, the participants were awarded a certificate of attendance by Minister of education, science, culture and sport of West Herzegovina Canton, Ms. Ružica Mikulić, and representative of DVV International - Country Office B&H, Ms. Emina Herić.
