UNIVERSITY OF SARAJEVO – FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY
Pursuant to Article 69 of the Law on Higher Education (Official Gazette of Canton Sarajevo, Nos. 36/22 and 28/25), Article 111 of the Statute of the University of Sarajevo No. 01-14-35-1/23 of 26 July 2023, the Proposal of the Department of Pedagogy No. 02-10/265 of 15 December 2025, and the Decision of the Faculty Council of the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Philosophy No. 02-01/51 of 12 January 2026,
the University publishes the following
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
for the enrolment of participants in the programme
BASIC ANDRAGOGICAL TRAINING
in the academic year 2025/2026.
The programme consists of five modules:
Module I: Adult Education and Lifelong Learning in Local and Global Contexts
Module II: Learning in Adulthood
Module III: Communication and Interaction Approach in Adult Education
Module IV: Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation of the Andragogical Cycle
Module V: Practical Teaching Work in Adult Education
The programme comprises 120 teaching hours (including assessment through practical work). Classes are held on Fridays from 4:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM, in accordance with the session schedule.
Upon successful completion of the Basic Andragogical Training programme, participants are awarded a Certificate of Acquired Basic Andragogical Competencies, accompanied by a Certificate Supplement. The completed programme is assessed with a total of 15 ECTS credits.
The programme fee amounts to BAM 1,053.00 (VAT included), plus BAM 30.00 for the use of the Library of the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Philosophy. The total amount may be paid in two equal instalments.
Applications for the Basic Andragogical Training programme shall be submitted by post, in a sealed envelope, to the following address:

The application form and a sample payment slip are available on the official website of the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Philosophy: www.ff.unsa.ba .
Applications may be submitted from 15 January 2026 to 2 February 2026.
Applicants are required to submit the following documents with their application:
- A hand-signed application form
- A short curriculum vitae
- A diploma of completed university education, college education, or fifth level of vocational education (original or certified copy)
- An extract from the birth or marriage register (original or certified copy)
- A certificate of membership in the Adult Education Council of Canton Sarajevo, if applicable – not mandatory (original or certified copy)

After the closing of the Call, a list of admitted participants will be published. Admitted participants shall submit proof of payment of the enrolment fee prior to the commencement of the programme.
