For the second consecutive year, DVV International's regular activity "Basic Adult Education Training" has been implemented in the West Herzegovina Canton in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport.
After three months of interactive training, 18 teachers in adult education successfully demonstrated their acquired knowledge and skills last week in front of supervisors Prof. Dr. Šefika Alibabić and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Perica Ivanek.
Divided into nine trainer pairs, the participants prepared ninety-minute workshops on the following adult education topics:
- Integration of interactive teaching methods in adult education
- Interactive methods in adult education: the pyramid (possibilities and application methods)
- Motives and barriers in adult education
- Digital tools as teaching means in the educational process of the "new normal"
- Visualization of teaching content - role and significance in adult education
- Types of activities in interactive teaching
- The role of teachers in the educational process: pedagogy/andragogy
- The role and significance of nonverbal communication in adult education work.
The public certificates were ceremoniously presented to the participants after the supervision by Minister Ms. Daniela Perić and the Director of DVV International - Office for BiH, Ms. Dženita Džano.
