PI High School of Construction and Geodesy Sarajevo, with the financial support of DVV International – Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, realized the training "Technical Draftsman in AutoCAD" in Sarajevo Canton. The implementation of the training is the result of research into the needs of the labor market and occupations that are modern in the world we live in.
The training was intended for unemployed people who are looking for a job or want to change their previous job. The training program envisages 120 teaching hours (theory and demonstrations), and as part of the training, the participants went through five thematic units:
• Basics of AutoCAD
• AutoCAD drawing strategies
• Conceptual project drawing
• Drawing of the implementation project
• Weaving of finished designs
The beginning of the training was in the month of March, and the very end was crowned by the awarding of a publicly valid certificate of completion of training for work as a Technical Draftsman in AutoCAD and a certificate of participation by DVV International. Director Dženita Džano addressed this ceremony in front of DVV International, and apart from school director Asmir Demir, there were also professors who were part of the teaching team.
This publicly valid training was completed by a total of 12 participants, who will certainly be much more competitive on the labor market with their additional enriched curriculum vitae and acquired knowledge.
