At the beginning of this month, a meeting of representatives of DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina led by director Dženita Džano with Minister Adisa Alikadić - Herić and her associates was held in the premises of the Ministry of Education, Youth, Science, Culture and Sports of the Bosnian - Podrinje Canton of Goražde.
The main topics of the meeting were the current situation regarding Adult Education in the Bosnian-Podrinje canton of Goražde and the possibility of revitalizing cooperation on the improvement of the Adult Education system in this Canton.
On this occasion, a cooperation agreement was signed, whereby DVV International undertook to support:
- introduction of the Information System for Controlling and Monitoring Adult Education (ISKOOM) and improvement of the Ministry's work processes through the provision of administrative and technical support;
- participation of professional staff from the Ministry in contact person meetings;
- development of the methodology for the Adult Education Curricula (NPP);
- creation of a pilot example of the Adult Education Curricula for a specific profession.
This agreement is only the crown of successful cooperation so far, which is being raised to a higher level. We are sure that this cooperation will result in numerous benefits for the improvement of the adult education system in this home canton, but also in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
