The Information System for Adult Education Control and Monitoring (ISKOOM) is an online platform that connects key stakeholders in the adult education system. This platform provides real-time insight into the situation on the ground, tracks the educational process from enrollment to the completion of adult education programs, and collects data necessary for strategic planning and reporting. ISKOOM also serves as an efficient monitoring mechanism, requiring adult education organizers to provide accurate, complete, and timely information about their activities and educational programs.
DVV International – Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina announces a new step forward in the modernization of educational processes in Tuzla Canton. The launch of ISKOOM was announced at yesterday’s press conference, where Minister of Education and Science - Ahmed Omerović and Assistant to the Minister for Higher Education and Science - Alisa Memić, spoke on the topic of digitalization. ISKOOM will enable the tracking of all stages of adult education – from enrollment, class attendance, and exams to the issuance of diplomas. All public documents (certificates and diplomas) will be strictly regulated, printed with barcodes, serial numbers, and holograms, in an effort to prevent potential abuses in adult education.
This system has been developed in accordance with the relevant laws and by-laws in the field of adult education and will enable precise tracking of qualifications, retraining, and other programs, without the possibility of shortening the legally required program duration.
DVV International remains committed to supporting the modernization and development of the adult education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, continuing its cooperation with relevant institutions to meet the needs of modern society.
In addition to Tuzla Canton, ISKOOM is in its final phase in three other administrative units: Sarajevo Canton, Una-Sana Canton, and Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde. In the Republic of Srpska, the possibilities for implementing the system are being considered.
