Despite the pandemic that marked 2020, adult education has not been stopped, and education authorities have continued implementing and improving the adopted legislation.
Representatives of education authorities confirmed this at the meeting of contact persons for adult education held last week in Tarčin with the aim to plan joint activities and exchange experiences and information on recent events, needs and challenges of education authorities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the DVV International's partner institutions/ministries of education from Una-Sana Canton, Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, Sarajevo Canton and Brčko District BiH.
Introduction of the Information System for Controlling and Monitoring Adult Education – ISKOOM was highlighted as one of the main cooperation priorities in 2021. Besides, DVV International will continue the capacity building activities for employees of education ministries, managers and teachers of adult education providers, networking activities with all relevant actors in adult education, and other activities contributing to sustainability and enhancing the quality of adult education.
