DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Department for Education of the Government of Brčko District B&H in cooperation with the Association for Local Development Initiatives ALDI are implementing the project “Establishing Network of Governmental and Non-Governmental Actors in the Field of Adult Education in Brčko District B&H”, with the financial support from the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany.
The idea for establishing such a network of governmental and non-governmental actors in adult education is a result of the round table “Improving cooperation between adult education and economy” held in 2019 in Brčko for representatives of competent institutions and other relevant actors.
The main objective is to establish institutional cooperation in adult education and develop and strengthen the awareness of the importance of joint operations in adult education.
Within this project, an initial meeting of future partners in Brčko District B&H was held on November 6 in Brčko. The participants discussed the needs of public, private, and civil sectors in adult education and local partnerships' benefits.
Besides the Association for Local Development Initiatives ALDI representatives, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Government of Brčko District B&H, educational institutions, employers’ association, and civil sector representatives.
The project also foresees the organisation of training for members of the partnership to acquire specific knowledge and skills, improve the existing structures and coordination instruments, and exchange ideas within the partnership.
