First Cycle of Training for Junior Women’s Rights Ambassadors in Bosnia and Herzegovina Successfully Completed!

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the first cycle of online training within the project “Women’s Rights Ambassadors for Empowerment and Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, funded by the European Union. So far, a total of 1,233 seventh and eighth grade primary school students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina have completed the training and earned the title of Junior Women’s Rights Ambassadors.

The program aims to introduce young people to the fundamental concepts of gender equality and women’s rights, and to empower them to become advocates for positive change within their communities. The training is delivered through carefully designed online modules tailored to their age group, enabling children to easily and clearly understand the importance of equal rights and opportunities for all.

This initiative represents a significant step toward building generations that, from an early age, develop awareness of the importance of respecting human rights, equality, and social justice. A key strength of the program lies in its implementation in cooperation with schools and teachers, thereby enhancing the capacity of the education system to continuously contribute to the creation of a more just society.

The project “Women’s Rights Ambassadors for Empowerment and Change in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is funded by the European Union and implemented by DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina, in partnership with the Center for Education and Research NAHLA and the Association SARA-Srebrenica.
