The Assembly of District Brčko B&H adopted the Law on Adult Education at the 35th regular meeting held on 30th of October 201, and officially began the process of regulating the field of adult education in this area.
By adopting this law, the field of adult education becomes legally regulated in 11 administrative units of B&H, and in the near future one can expect the Law on adult education to be adopted in the last remaining unit as well - Posavina Canton.
A complex process of elaborating and adopting regulation and bylaws foreseen by the adopted law is forthcoming for the District, whereby the experiences of other administrative units will be of a great importance. In this respect, representatives of the Department for Education in the Government of District Brčko B&H will participate in the next meeting „Laws and Regulation in the Field of Adult Education“ that will be organised by DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina on 22nd and 23rd of November in Jahorina.
