At the beginning of the week, a two-day meeting of partner organizations was held in Jahorina. Representatives of the NAHLA Center for Education and Research, JU of the Mixed High School "Safet Krupić," JU of the Sarajevo Construction and Surveying Secondary School, CPCD—Smart Resource Center, Amica Educa Association, and Association for Local Development Initiatives—ALDI attended the meeting.
The meeting aimed to exchange information on the results of the three-year cooperation with DVV International - Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Each partner organization presented various segments of collaboration. Starting with the opportunity to network with other national and regional organizers of adult education, Volkshochschulen from Germany, through membership in the European Association for Adult Education (EAEA), to the development, accreditation, and piloting of adult education programs. In addition, the representatives of the organizations emphasized the importance of strengthening their capacities through participation in training in the field of marketing, curriculum development, andragogic training, as well as attendance at various professional events organized by DVV International.
In addition to presentations by partner organizations, the team of DVV International – Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the results of the external evaluation of piloted adult education programs implemented by partner organizations in the period 2022-2024. The evaluation itself was mostly focused on the labor market, that is, the possibilities of applying acquired knowledge, skills, and competencies for the best possible positioning on the labor market.
DVV International – Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the organizers of adult education and relevant partner institutions, will continue to strengthen this area with a focus on promoting the importance of adult education in the context of lifelong learning for the individual and society as a whole.
