New Generation of Students of Pedagogy Visited DVV International Within the Andragogical Practice

Students of third year of the Department for Pedagogy at Faculty of Philosophy of University of Sarajevo, led by Prof.Dr Mirjana Mavrak, visited DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina on 26th of March within their mandatory andragogical practice.

Country Director, Dr. Emir Avdagić, thereby, held a lecture about the state of adult education in B&H and the region, but also about the global and European perspectives for development of adult education, as well as key problems and challenges other countries face nowadays.

Successful cooperation of DVV International with the Department for Pedagogy has lasted for a long time and besides regular meetings with students, it has included cooperation in publishing the journal „Adult Education“, advisory support to students, access to the professional literature from the field of andragogy, participation in professional exchanges and conferences, etc.

The visit was organised in DVV International's partner organisation, the Lifelong Learning Center of PI Bosnian Cultural Center of Sarajevo Canton, which was established in 2017 with a significant professional and financial support of DVV International.

Afterwards, students visited the office of DVV International - Country Office B&H where members of the B&H project team delivered professional publications and promotional materials from the field of adult education.

As a result of this year's visit, possibilities for cooperation in implementation of activities, research conduction, volunteering in the Office, etc. were agreed with students and DVV International also offered them a possibility of using its professional library.
