The University Tele-Informatic Centre (UTIC), on October 10, 2023, in the presence of a large number of adult education providers and the Ministry of Education of the Sarajevo Canton, conducted a presentation and training for the final version of the ISKOOM system, designed for monitoring and managing adult education. The training took place at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the University of Sarajevo - prof. dr. Zdravko Grebo (CIS). This training marks the transition of the system into the operational phase after months of development and testing.
ISKOOM - Information System for Adult Education Control and Monitoring represents a revolutionary step in the digitalization of adult education in the Sarajevo Canton. This system provides providers with a powerful tool for the efficient management of educational processes, facilitating the tracking of learner progress and the issuance of public documents.
Attendees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the functions of the new ISKOOM system and pose questions to experts from UTIC. This interactive experience allowed for a deeper understanding of the system and an exchange of ideas between providers and government representatives.
After the completion of the presentation and a successful testing phase, the ISKOOM system is ready for full use in the Sarajevo Canton. This represents a significant step toward the modernization of adult education and better control of educational processes.
In the coming period, the focus will expand to adapt the system for three more administrative units: the Una-sana Canton, the Tuzla Canton, and the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde.
In light of this significant achievement, all that remains is to await future progress and the positive impact of the ISKOOM system on adult education in the Sarajevo Canton and beyond.
