Today's signing of the Agreement on the Transfer of Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights for the Adult Education Control and Monitoring Information System - ISKOOM, between the Ministry of Education of Sarajevo Canton and DVV International - Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, has solidified their cooperation.
ISKOOOM will enable efficient management of the adult education process and monitoring of accredited formal and non-formal adult education programs. This system connects key stakeholders in the adult education system, allowing for the tracking of the educational process from enrollment to program completion, as well as the collection of data necessary for strategic planning and reporting. Currently, there are 35 accredited adult education organizers and 116 accredited formal and non-formal adult education programs in Sarajevo Canton. ISKOOOM will provide real-time insight into the situation on the ground and represents an efficient monitoring mechanism, obliging adult education organizers to provide accurate, complete, and timely information.
"Thanks to DVV International - Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been actively supporting the establishment of the adult education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina for many years and providing full support for its functioning, we are pleased to highlight that the implementation of the Adult Education Control and Monitoring Information System - ISKOOM will improve adult education in Sarajevo Canton," said Minister Naida Hota-Muminović.
The Director of DVV International - Country Office for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mrs. Dženita Džano, emphasized the great importance of ISKOOM for accredited adult education organizers and the Ministry of Education of Sarajevo Canton, which will enhance and modernize this field. It is particularly important that the system will offer a higher level of transparency and monitoring of the implementation of accredited formal and non-formal adult education programs in Sarajevo Canton in real-time.
