More than 20 representative of educational ministries from four cantons of Federation of B&H and from Brčko District participated in a study visit to Zagreb in the period from 27th to 31st of March, organized by DVV International - Country Office B&H in cooperation with Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education of Republic of Croatia.
Also, in the study visit participated four cantonal ministers: Prof.Dr. Elvir Kazazović, minister of education, science and youth of Sarajevo Canton, Mr. Mensur Sinanović, minister of education, science, culture and sport of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Ms. Ružica Mikulić, minister of education, science, culture and sport of West Herzegovina Canton, and Mr. Damir Žuga, minister of education, youth, science, culture and sport of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, as well as the manager of Department for Education in the Government of Brčko District, Mr. Senad Osmanović.
Director of DVV International - Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Emir Avdagić, PhD, stresses out that the aim of the visit is to get to know the adult education system in Republic of Croatia so the participants can use their new acquired knowledge and skills to contribute to the better implementation of Law on Adult Education in their areas, to the development of quality in adult education and overall to systematic and more harmonized regulation of this field in B&H.
During the visit, group had meetings with representatives of the following institutions: Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education, Ministry of Science and Education of Republic of Croatia, Agricultural School Zagreb, Croatian Employers Association, Croatian Chamber of Economy, Ministry of Labour and Pension System of Republic of Croatia, Croatian Employment Office and Open University „Algebra“.
