The third meeting of the Working Group for the revision of the Strategic Platform for Adult Education in the context of Lifelong Learning in Bosnia and Herzegovina is being held today at the Monti Hotel on Igman.

This is currently the most important process at the state level in the field of adult education. In cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH and DVV International – Country Office for BiH, the members of the Working Group continue to define the key goals and measures of the new Strategic Platform. The focus is on strengthening the institutional framework, EU integration, better alignment of education, labor and employment policies, improving the quality of programs, promoting lifelong learning for personal and professional development, and establishing sustainable financing mechanisms.

The revision of the Strategic Platform systematically brings together all relevant stakeholders – state and entity ministries, cantonal institutions, Brčko District, employment services and educational agencies – to jointly define the directions for the development of adult education in BiH in the coming years.

We thank the members of the Working Group for their active engagement in implementing the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina's decision and in creating the conditions for using funds from the European Union’s Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).

For BiH, this means strengthening adult education capacities, better labor-market preparedness, and long-term empowerment through lifelong learning.
