Second module of the training cycle „Management in Education“, developed for headmasters of educational facilities, respectively vocational schools which also conduct adult education activities, took place in Mostar on October 30. – 31. 2018. The project is being implemented by DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
The objective of this module for the participants was to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of marketing and leadership, and it was operationalised through diverse tasks within following topics: marketing management in education; leadership in education; characteristics, activities and styles of leaders; leader and manager skills.
Professor Šefika Alibabić and associate professor Jovan Miljković from the Faculty of Philosophy of Belgrade, have led the participants through the educational process, using various andragogical methods and techniques. Particular attention was paid to comprehension of the marketing concept and significance of leadership and their specificities in education institutions. During individual work and work in smaller groups the participants had the opportunity to elaborate on their own ideas and recognise possibilities to integrate theoretical principals into educational practice and personal leading styles.
