Third International Conference „Building Bridges in Adult Education“ is going to be held this week in Skopje (Macedonia).
The conference is a forum aimed to exchange opinions, experiences and good practice examples as well as to create a common approach in tackling challenges and current problems in the field of adult education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosova, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro.
The host and organiser of this year's conference is Lifelong Learning Center Skopje with financial support of DVV International from Bonn, Germany from the funds of Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
20th anniversary of DVV International's work in Republic of Macedonia and its contribution to development and improvement of education of adults and youth in the country will be celebrated during the conference.
Members of Bosnia and Herzegovina's delegation at the conference are: Mr. Mensur Sinanović, Minister of education, science, culture and sport of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Mr. Damir Žuga, Minister of education, youth, science, culture and sport of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, Ms. Lejla Turčilo, Professor at Faculty of Political Sciences of University of Sarajevo, Ms. Svjetlana Tubić, trainer of trainers in adult education, and representatives of DVV International - Country Office B&H, Dr.sc. Emir Avdagić, director and Mr. Anes Čerkez, project assistant.
