At the beginning of September this year, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Tuzla Canton announced the introduction of ISKOOM in the Tuzla Canton. Minister Ahmed Omerović and Assistant Minister for Higher Education and Science Alisa Memić spoke about the importance of digitization in adult education.
As a continuation of this process, online training for representatives of adult education providers was realized yesterday. In addition to the organizers, the training was attended by representatives of the competent ministry: Assistant Minister for Higher Education and Science of Tuzla Canton - Alisa Memić and expert advisor for Education - Alem Dedić and expert advisor of the Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton - Đulaga Hadžić.
The training was led by software developers Meliha Kurtagić - Pašalić, Lejla Bakija, and Iman Bekkaye from the University Tele-Informatics Center (UTIC), who have been working on the development and adaptation of the system since the very beginning.
The multi-hour training included a presentation of the process of using the system, after which the representatives of the providers had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers to them.
It should be emphasized that this system was developed following valid laws, by-laws, and regulations in the field of adult education in the Tuzla Canton. This system will enable accurate monitoring of formal and informal publicly valid adult education programs, without the possibility of shortening the prescribed duration of the program.
