Aimed at promoting opportunities for adult education, Association for Local Development Initiatives ALDI Goražde, with support of DVV International, this year prepared a catalogue „Jobs of the future“ within the network of governmental and non-governmental actors in adult education in Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde.

Despite significant moves forward in enhancing the situation on the labour market, Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde still faces a huge gap between demand and offer of skills on the labour market. It is still far from finding an adequate response to the „skills crisis“.

The local industry, employing the majority of labour, has been wholly oriented towards export, globally integrated and under tremendous pressure to keep up with the global modernization and transformation. The local partnership of the BPC Goražde makes huge efforts to continuously trace labour market movements to react effectively to the increasing changes and challenges.

The catalogue is, thus, an essential document for education in BPC Goražde, as it provides a clear picture of 20 occupations going to be most wanted in the future in this canton and neighboring regions. The occupations in the catalogue are grouped by level of education. The catalogue contains a brief description of each occupation and necessary crucial skills to be most demanded in the future.

The twenty occupations of the future presented in the catalogue are:

  • Software Programmer,
