DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC) organised the first module of the publicly recognised programme „Basic andragogic training“ on June 19th - 22nd at the Faculty of Law in Zenica.
The programme, which will be conducted from June to November 2019, has been created to develop basic competencies for the work with adults. Besides the first module with the title „Adult Learning - Psychological Basics, Characteristics and Learning Syles“, the programme includes three more thematic units/modules:
- Communication, group dynamics and governance of the educational group,
- Visualisation and presentation in educational work with adults, and
- Interactive methods in adult education.
Furthermore, the 120 hours of the programme include mentored individual and self-organised learning and individual practical work, as well as group work – demonstration of acquired skills and supervision at the end of the training.
The 44 participants (two groups) of this years' training are academic staff from the University of Zenica, teachers from vocational schools registered as adult education institutions in ZDC, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of ZDC and the Department of Pedagogy of ZDC.
Trainer of the first module was Prof. Dr. Šefika Alibabić, Professor at the Department of Andragogy, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.
