Supporting Women in Business Development

All 15 participants completed the training successfully

Ms Silvija Fejzagić said her dreams came true

The certificate and award conferral ceremony within the project „Academy of Women Entrepreneurship - Supporting Women in Business Development“ implemented by partner organization CEI „Nahla“ in cooperation with DVV International - Country Office B&H, was held on Wednesday, 6th of December 2017.

At the very beginning of the project, during the selection process, participants presented their ideas based on different business fields: from making jewellery, souvenirs, production of wood products to services of cleaning business and living spaces, etc., that have been improved during the four months of the training as well as adjusted to survive in the real market.

The training has included 120 hours of practical and theoretical classes from eight different fields: entrepreneurship, leadership, legal frame of business, financial framework, marketing, sales and sales management, communication skills and business plan.

After the completion of the training, all participants have started writing final business plans for their business ideas, and the comprehensiveness, validity and applicability of the business plans created have shown that all 15 participants have completed the training successfully and are more or less ready to enter the market defined in their business plans.  

Award for the best business plan, financial support in amount of KM 2.000,00 for launching business, went to Ms. Silvija Fejzagić and her business idea of launching a small business for wood working and production of wood products „Duborez CNC“. Ms. Fejzagić emphasized in her speech the importance of the implemented training for professional as well as for her personal development since she had never been employed and since the training had helped her to make her dream come true and to take the active role in creating better future for her family.   

Ms. Sanja Delić Bradić won the second place with her business idea of establishing an association for education and creativity development „Volimo učiti kreativno“, and Ms. Lejla Tuzlak won the third place with her idea of launching a small business for space and air ozonisation with ozone „ČISTO3“.

The awards and certificates of attendance were granted by director of Center for Education and Research „Nahla“, Ms. Sehija Dedović, and representative of DVV International - Country Office B&H, Mr. Anes Čerkez.

The training is implemented with the financial support of Federal Ministry for International Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
