DVV International – Country Office Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton have organised the last module of the training „Management in Education“ on November 15th-16th in Mostar.
Project objective was professionalization in adult education within the strategic goal of DVV International in the field of building and development of adult education structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This programme has been created for managers in public and private educational organisations which conduct activities of adult education.
During the training, the participants have improved their competencies for appropriate management of an educational facility, which contributes to the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of educational processes and the system of education as a whole.
The conductors of all three modules were professor Šefika Alibabić and Jovan Miljković, associate professor from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. Through their andragogic approach and various methods and techniques, as well as individual and group tasks the participants have been working on following topics: functions and management models, SWOT analysis, strategic management, organisational culture ad climate, marketing management in education, leadership in education, leadership and manager skills, quality in education and other.
At the end of the event the participants were awarded Certificates of Attendance and the publication Management Models in Organizations for Adult Education by Mr Sudo Marić, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and Mr Emir Avdagić PhD, director of DVV International – Country Office B&H.
