Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Una-Sana Canton adopted the Action Plan for the development of local partnership members' capacities in Una-Sana Canton. The Action Plan aims to articulate a long-term direction of developing institutional cooperation of all stakeholders in adult education, establish a mechanism of continuous cooperation of partners in adult education and contribute to increasing capacities of the stakeholders.
The Action Plan emphasizes that the partnership of public, private and civil sectors is crucial for the success in adult education, identifies critical challenges and opportunities for further development of the partnership and defines the partnership's role in general efforts in developing adult education in Una-Sana Canton.
A report "Partnership for the Future: Recommendations for Developing Institutional Partnership of Actors in Adult Education in Una-Sana Canton" has been created to support the development of institutional partnership of actors in adult education.
The report shall be seen as a valuable tool to reach the three critical priorities contained in the Action Plan - a further affirmation of the partnership and cooperation in adult education, capacity development of the institutional partners and creating new opportunities for adult learning and education.
The report and the Action Plan have been prepared due to DVV International's efforts in establishing local partnerships, that is, non-formal networks of relevant governmental and non-governmental actors in adult education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the end of 2021, the local partnership members signed the Memorandum on Cooperation in developing adult education. Further activities of the partnership will be coordinated through the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Una-Sana Canton and the Center for Promotion of Local Development - PLOD Bihać.
